Dear Neighbor,

I hope you enjoyed a peaceful weekend. As you finalize your plans for the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday, please remember that we are in the midst of a second Coronavirus surge and be safe. As part of the Stay at Home Advisory, gathering for a traditional Thanksgiving dinner with people from outside of your household is advised against. Please consider taking advantage of Zoom’s offer of no time limit on video calls on Thursday to connect virtually with your loved ones.

Some of our local restaurants have special offers for the holiday. Please consider supporting our locally owned grocery stores, restaurants, and other specialty shops when planning your Thanksgiving Dinner menu:Andersonville Thanksgiving OffersEdgewater Restaurant GuideUptown Thanksgiving OffersIf you or a loved one needs a COVID-19 test before or after the holiday, see local options below. Additionally, please see the graphic from Illinois Department of Public Health outlining how to properly quarantine.Heartland Health Centers, 1300 W.
