Education

Website-Education

As Alderman, I have made education a top priority.  It is my hope that young families move into our neighborhood and stay here because of our great schools. The 48th Ward is home to 5 public elementary schools, 2 public high schools, and 5 private schools.  Each school in our ward is incredibly diverse, from the students who attend to the programs they offer.  I want every child in our community to have a high-quality choice for education from preschool through high school.
The success of our schools depends on you too.  A community with excellent schools is a vibrant, sustainable one. I invite you to be my partner in education.  Get involved.  Share your ideas.  Please contact your local school or my office to learn how.
